Bring Your E-commerce Store To The Top 10% | Optimize My Online Store 2023

How do your skills compare against the leading experts in your niche ?

Does your store have the same qualities that the highest earners do ?

Branding And Scaling Your E-commerce Store:

For Any Niche

Before we begin, I want to give an example of one of our clients who started from a small online business and scaled to 6-figures within 8 months. And all he did was social media and influencer campaigns.

Our client Alex, dreamt of creating an enchanting online store for unique handcrafted jewelry. To ensure success, Alex delved deep into niche market research, discovering the desires of eco-conscious millennials and art enthusiasts.

But he didn't know how to make others see his products and feel the same way he did about his product. So we began to highlight some of the key things that he needed.

First we needed to face the facts. Most businesses fail within the first 4 years, and this is partially because the business does not have a long-standing revenue stream with branding to keep it alive against competition.

Focus on content creation and product videos on social media. Whether it's short-form videos, YouTube, or Influencer model shoots. Just focus on the media.

Within 2 months we had helped Alex grow to 5,000 followers with zero advertising spend.

We continued to target key factors that would help boost branding and revenue.

With a mesmerizing website as the gateway, the store flourished. Customers from all corners of the globe (Europe - Japan - Croatia -US) flocked to the world of handcrafted jewelry, and sales soared to new heights.

In the end, Alex's tale of e-commerce success taught us the magic of understanding our niche audience and optimizing lead generation.

So how does this apply to you ?

Well it's really simple. What we did not tell you is that most of Alex's sales came from social media traffic. In fact, even the paid ads did not match to the amount of traffic accumulated through social. This was 2019 - before reels, and before social media even had the scale it has today.

The data shows it all, and in the data here are the 3 steps that we found made the biggest improvements for all of our brands.

Focus on your what solutions your products solve:

When you focus on the solutions that your product solves, you rarely have to worry about other branding techniques. Whether its an impulse buy or a well thought out purchase - a person is looking for ways to fit your product into their life. Use storytelling to convey how your products have transformed the lives of your customers. Highlight real-life success stories and experiences that resonate with your target audience.

Build a strategy that flexes with the data:

When you have a good product, you are going to get sales from all over the world, especially when you have a physical product that requires shipping. As the data comes in, you need to adjust your plan accordingly and never take shortcut's.

Build out your strategy into 10 layers and make 5 back-up plans. We all need contingency strategies. There should be a 10 page detailed plan for your business that you can use to fuel your mind when the waves crash higher than expected.

Make sure that you can calculate the overall spend and expected revenue. With the current ads platforms and marketplace, you can tell.

Social media and good visuals represent your brand more than the actual product:

I don't care whether you are Jimmy Choo or Jamie Chee, if you want to sell more product, it has to look good to the buyer. The quality of your product has to meet standards but it doesn't have to be levels beyond your competition if you brand it right. When you think about Apple or Sony, you get ideas of their brand that deliver deeper promises than their product can ever offer. Don't scam people, but utilize media and product features to bring out the popularity of your product.

- Focus on clean designs

- Make trending videos with sounds that customers can identify your brand with

- Collaborate with trusted Influencers

- Spend money on campaigns that drive well organically

Once you've spent some time in the workshop, it's time to let your strategy come to life. And being prepared is half the battle, so don't skip any steps.

The most important part of scaling, is having the ability to capitalize on your best work. When you create a campaign that does well for $100 dollars, it will also do well for $1000 dollars. You need to recognize the patterns for your business more than ever if you want to succeed.

Working on yourself, the entrepreneur, is going to be the only thing that separates you from success in the end.

Good entrepreneurs learn how to become someone new to build their business. If you can be flexible and understand the trends, you can scale your business with social media. It becomes much easier when you have an E-commerce business because you won't have to deal with customers in a physical location.

Put your money where your mouth is, and create a long lasting brand:
